The Association of the Organizations of Bulgarian Employers (AOBE) is a free union of the employers organisations that are national acknowledged as representative according to the operating legislation. AOBE is directed towards interests consolidation of the representative employers organisations in Bulgaria at international and national level. For the time being, this task is more successfully fulfilled in international aspect. Excluding some small diversions, the rotation principle of presidency and respectively nominating a delegate at the annual International Labour Conference in Geneva, follows the statute stipulations. International Level. International Organization of Employers (IOE) AOBE is a collective member of the International Organization of Employers, Geneva and plays an active role in its activities. Since its creation in 1920 the IOE has been recognised as the only organisation at the international level that represents the interests of business in the labour and social policy fields. Today IOE consists of 150 national employer organizations from 143 countries from all over the world. The mission of the IOE is to promote and defend the interests of employers at international level and particularly in the International Labour Organization (ILO).
